4/10/2026 - Jay County Patriots Jr High Beat Monroe Central Behind Ellie Wiggins's No-Hitter

Ellie Wiggins was brilliant in the circle on Friday at Monroe Central as Wiggins threw a no-hitter to lead Jay County Patriots Jr High past Monroe Central 4-1.

Jay County Patriots Jr High were the first to get on the board in the third when Maggie Westgerdes singled, scoring two runs.

Wiggins and Westgerdes were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup, as each drove in two runs for Jay County Patriots Jr High. Westgerdes went 2-for-4 at the plate to
lead Jay County Patriots Jr High in hits. Wiggins and Westgerdes both doubled in the contest.

Paisley Day paced Jay County Patriots Jr High with two walks and scored 2 runs. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, piling up five walks for the game. Jay County Patriots Jr High didn't commit a single error in the field. Kyla Sims had the most chances in the field with nine. Adalee Rigby also contributed with a single and scored twice.

Monroe Central were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. #5 had the most chances in the field with seven.
