🌕✨ The Full Cold Moon in Gemini marks the last full moon of 2024, and it carries an air of curiosity, communication, and duality.

Gemini, the sign of the twins, invites us to explore the balance between logic and intuition, connection and solitude, speaking and listening. This full moon illuminates our thoughts, ideas, and relationships, urging us to reflect on the stories we’ve told ourselves throughout the year and consider which ones we’re ready to let go of.

Adding to its significance, this moon is also a Major Lunar Standstill, or lunistice, which only happens every 18.6 years. A lunistice occurs when the moon reaches its furthest point north or furthest point south in the sky at a given latitude, and rests there for a couple of years (stands still). It won’t happen again until 2043. With a solstice this coming weekend (when the sun stands still), this moment is a powerful reminder to pause, reflect, and recalibrate as we stand on the threshold of a new year.

As we approach the end of 2024, this is the perfect time to reflect on the lessons we’ve learned, the connections we’ve nurtured, and the new pathways we’re ready to explore in the year ahead.
