We are holding a Judo Open Practice from 12 - 2 PM next Saturday on Feburary 21st. This practice is open to all clubs and all ranks, ages 13 and up.

We will start with warm ups and proceed with randori rounds. We encourage everyone to attend to meet and work with new judokas!

Over the long weekend, we had 16 of our members compete at North Sound Judo Invitational for both shiai and kata. We took home 1 Gold 🥇, 2 Silvers 🥈, and 2 bronzes 🥉in Shiai.

Everyone fought super well and we were able to see some crazy matches with tough opponents this weekend. As always, thank you to all the coaches and parents who came out this weekend to support our athletes!

Congratulations to all of those who fought - what a wonderful way to start out the 2026 year!

Due to an influx of new members in judo, Sensei Rodrigo is now offering a Beginners Class on Saturdays starting at 9:00 AM starting this week (1/24). Come learn the basic techniques and foundations of Judo!

Our annual Bridgetown Judo + Enso PDX BJJ Holiday Party is this weekend! 🎁 Swing by starting at 4PM on Saturday with the fam and your fav holiday snacks 🍪 to share for a lovely potluck meal and some silly holiday games ☃️ We’re doing our usual White Elephant for the kiddos and of course, the infamous Musical Chairs 😏 Come see who takes the crown (technically a boot mug 👢) this year, or compete yourself to win it all—judo and BJJ techniques encouraged 🤭🥋

Our Mudansha promotions (color belts) are coming up next Monday, December 8th. 5 pm for kids and 6:15 pm for adults. We ask that you wear a white gi when you come by to support!

It's been a whirlwind couple of weeks as we concluded our competition season with President cup and Dallas Open this past weekend. We are proud of everyone who stepped on the mat in the past couple weeks. Not only did we have multiple medalists in Zenyu and Rainier cup but this is the first time we have had representatives qualify and compete at an international tournament. Sensei Ben and Sensei V both made their international debut at the Montreal Pan American open both gaining valuable experience and putting up good fights against the top seeds.

Our little dojo has come a long way in the past year and we appreciate everyone who has been along for the ride. Thank you everyone for your support and see you all on the mat!

Happy Friday ☀️ and a HUGE congratulations to Bridgetown Judo’s two newest black belts! 🎉 🥋🖤 Andy () and Ben () have both been training with us as white belts since before we were Bridgetown Judo, and we’re so proud to now be the ones to award them the belt that signals the beginning of their judo journey. Thank you both for all your hard work and dedication to the sport and for being such amazing, supportive teammates to everyone at the dojo.
