As a christian non-profit we make it our mission to offer free training for everyone in our community! American Open Progressive Martial Arts (AOPMA) is a mixed martial arts system that incorperates elements of kickboxing, Kyokushin (full contact) Karate, American Open Style Karate, Wing Chun, Arnis, and Japanese Jiu jitsu. nt decades training in multiple martial arts and decided to combine his knowledge into a system that can be passed down, and continue to grow over time. Daniel Buck (A student of Kyoshi Dave's and Martial artist with over a decade of experience) now teaches this Martial Arts system in Portland Oregon. Daniel teaches these classes with an emphasis on taking techniques (traditional and modern) and drilling them with live resistance (sparring) so our students are prepared for the reality of violence. Our students train in all ranges of combat with the goal of self defense in mind.
