VEGAS Timeouts & Communication.
In 2026 league play we will allow communication when opponents are shooting HOWEVER in tournaments we wll NOT allow you to talk to the players at the table, to prepare you for Vegas where this is not allowed.
In Teams events:
"Coaching is allowed in team divisions DURING A LEGAL TIMEOUT ONLY. If a legal time-out has not been called, you may NOT
communicate with your team and your team may not assist you in any way. Whether a coaching foul has occurred and
been properly called is at the sole judgment of the referee. Penalties for procedural coaching violations such as over the
time limit, more than one coach, touching a ball, etc., are shown below. However, violations involving actual
or attempted communications between players when no time-out has been called will be punished more severely,
up to and including disqualification."
and
"Any player on either team roster may call a time out at any time during their teammate’s turn at the table."
[Note the 2026 tournament regulations refer to actual "breaks" like restroom breaks as timeouts, which can be confusing. For coaching timeouts you'll want to refer to the section "Coaching Timeouts."
