Misc shop photos of a couple repairs from this week. Dimpling chainstays and moving a brake bridge for Velo Orange long reach brakes and replacing a headtube on an XXL Rivendell Bicycle Works 🥶 that cracked.

Fresh off the heels of MADE and just before the (hopeful!!) mud of Portland Trophy Cup, this beauty is out in the world. Built for a local rider headed to Paris-Brest-Paris next year, it’s designed for long rides, day or night. The bright green is classy without being too uptight and plays well with the mix of SRAM Road and . The 650b wheels are laced to perfection by Sugar Wheel Works with ‘merican made parts by Velocity USA and White Industries. Hidden wires for both front and rear lights. The best part is it all fits inside the EVOC case for travel!

August is always a busy month in my lil bubble. Being a morning person helps. Up early to get in some pedal time and coffee The Dragonfly Coffee House before stepping to the bench.

I started a repair on a Lobster on a Rock which requires stripping the powder coat with 🔥. Another reason I’m not a huge fan of powder coating. Plastic is NOT fantastic. Randy’s seattube repair is coming along and I made a new outdoor kitchen shelf for my pizza oven, grill and Service Course, LLC wash bucket. I approach life in that order. Good food, clean bikes.

Tyler’s new lugged CX rim brake stead is off to paint and I’ll have a couple bikes at MADE in the , 日東隆久 and mkspedal booth. Come say hello!

John’s new AR-Disc Fillet frameset left this week. Made for big tires, wireless 1x, UDH bits and featuring a simple bag support to save the frame from being scratched up. Beautiful metallic blue paint by Eric Dungey, of course. ENVE Composites adventure fork and stem painted to match. Happy riding, John!
