Progress Peek! The Marquette Greenway Trail is shaping up!

Check out this view from Babcock Road! The new Trail pathway will be cutting near the beautiful Mnoke Prairie along Beam Street in the Town of Porter, Indiana.

It's amazing to see this connection coming to life, right down the road from the historic Bailey Homestead. Will soon be able to bike through this gorgeous stretch of Northwest Indiana and the Indiana Dunes.

Kudos all involved and everyone working hard to make this regional trail vision a reality.

Bike The Dunes is holding a Sunset Cruise tonight. Swing by the Indiana Dunes Visitor Center this evening between 1:00 - 7: 00 to grab a bike and enjoy the beauty of a Lake Michigan sunset from the Indiana Dunes. Only a 10-minute bike ride to the beach. The sunset is at 8:08. Rented bikes need to be back by 8:38. Swing by our mobile storefront for more information.

Stop on by the Indiana Dunes Visitor Center this weekend and rent bikes at the Bike The Dunes mobile storefront. It's absolutely the best way to experience and explore the Indiana Dunes. We'll be open 9:00 am - 6:00 pm Saturday thru Monday. Get the best local trail information, skip the long lines, the parking hassle, and get front row parking at the beach or hiking trails. See you on the trails!

We're located in the Bike The Dunes mobile trailer at the Indiana Dunes Visitor Center, at the trailhead of the Dunes Kankakee Trail.

Come out, say hi, and catch some fresh air before the summer rush.

We are excited to share a little piece of Duneland history!

When Tony retired and closed the Chesterton Bicycle Station, we knew we had to keep a part of his legacy moving. We rescued 13 handmade bike racks and gave them some serious TLC by stripping them down, applying a fresh coat of paint, and topping them off with our signs.

You may see these refurbished beauties popping up at your favorite spots throughout the Duneland community. We love that a piece of the Station lives on while helping you explore our beautiful area on two wheels!

Be sure to secure your bike to these racks when visiting George's Gyro Spot, Val's, DQ on Broadway in Chesterton, or Joe & Freddy's in Town of Pines. More locations coming soon!

Keep an eye out for our newly wrapped mobile trailer at the Indiana Dunes Visitor Center We are thrilled with how the design turned out. We want to thank the team at for helping us bring this vision to life.

We are officially kicking things off with a soft opening starting next Saturday, May 16th! Come say hi, check out the new setup, rent a bike, and get ready for our full official launch over Memorial Day weekend.
