5 inches of new powder last night. Grooming underway.

Well, it finally came. 8" of nice powder. The fairways are groomed. The woods have been given a first pass with a roller. Beautiful all around.

Reminder, happy hour goes from 2-5 pm at The View at Brookhaven perfect for relaxing and rehydrating after a couple hours on the trails.

What a difference a week makes. Last Monday we were skiing on great snow. Yesterday, 6 days later, you could hardly find the snow. I guess it is time to look forward to next season. Watch this space for some off season fun.

The two months we had this year were pretty good despite a relative lack of snow, but the seasons seem to keep getting shorter. Thanksgiving to Easter has now become New Years to March 1st.

If you are as frustrated as I am, and want to address the issue of climate change and global warming, use your vote both locally and nationally to elect officials (and parties) who are committed to the environment and are willing to act to keep this world a livable and enjoyable place on a healthy planet.

I am not a single issue voter, but acknowledging the threat of global warming and climate change is certainly a litmus test for me.

OK, I was just out on the woods trails and they are pretty much shot. Unless we get a cold snap and a major storm its a wrap on the21-22 season.
