Congratulations to our All-DAC Fall 2025 Girls Soccer honorees! These outstanding athletes have shown exceptional skill, dedication, and sportsmanship throughout the season. Their hard work and commitment to excellence make us proud. Way to represent Portage High School!

Wow..... it's taken me 24 hours to process the game from last night.... every single thing we have been working so hard on at practice showed in your game last night. But what showed through even more was your grit, heart and determination to prove you were worthy of being in that championship. Every single person who had the opportunity to watch that game got to see the team you really are last night, the team that I always knew was there, you guys just had to see it for yourselves. That in itself was the greatest gift I could ever possibly have for my last game coaching high school soccer.

The honor it has been to be your coach cannot be expressed in words. I know there were days where I wasn't your favorite person, but please remember, the ones that demand your best, typically are the ones care about you the most. As we all close this chapter, please remember this is only a chapter and I look forward to seeing the rest of your stories unfold, wherever this life takes you.

Thank you all past and present Portage High School soccer players, the athletic department, the portage high school administration, the parents that allowed me to work with such amazing kids, our announcer Ryan, the best team moms in the planet especially Jess, and Jennifer, the Portage soccer club for your endless support and every person whose come down to support these amazing kids... thank you.... thank you for allowing me to be a part of this fantastic program.

Thank you to the best husband and fellow coach Ryan for all he has done for this program. I know he's going to miss these girls as much as I will. My daughters, Colie and Emily for all the help! Catlyn and Tino, I couldn't have done this without you. Thank you for being such great coaches! I am so honored to have all of you with me. What a coaching team we all made!

I wish the word thank you was enough to express my gratitude, but it doesn't quite do it justice.

Mali Kennedy led the Duneland Athletic Conference in scoring her freshman year. That wasn't enough as she's now surpassed Portage's single-season goal scoring record.
