Happy Monday, Fencers!
We're just a short week away from our 2026 Kalamaduel club tournament, and I wanted to share some information with you prior to the event.
First, if you are still interested but have not signed up, you can! This Thursday is the last day to sign up, which you can do by calling/visiting the Portage YMCA or by using the online link below. We cannot accept any entries after Thursday, so jump on it if you want to participate.

Check-in opens at 9 AM, so please plan accordingly. We hope to have everyone checked in by 9:45. We cannot accept late check-ins. Once we start the event (at 9:45 am), we cannot work in late arrivals.
We don't have access to a printer at the Y, so real-time results will be posted to the FencingTimeLive website. We will have QR codes posted for quick access to the site. Due to a recent change by the FencingTimeLive organization, you now need a free account to access live results. The link is below for anyone who would like to create a free account before the event.

We are looking for volunteers who can get to the Portage Y shortly after 8 AM to help us set up. We will need assistance with setting up chairs and the strips (equipment, taping the outlines/cables/power/etc). Thank you in advance to anyone who can help us.
Lastly, family and friends are welcome and encouraged to attend. Just let the YMCA front desk know you are here for the fencing tournament. We will have a small number of chairs plus some bleachers available, although you are free to bring camping-style fold-up chairs as well. For the fencers, if you lose your DE bout, we strongly encourage you to stay and watch your clubmates who are still competing. You can learn a lot from watching others, plus it shows support for the club!
We're looking forward to another event this year!
