Hello all we hope you are having a great start to the new year! If you are are planning out your fall hunting season schedule and interested in harvesting a trophy black bear in the North Maine Woods, High Landing camps is looking to book a few more bear hunts for the 2025 Fall season. Recent biologist study shows the updated black bear numbers for the area at an astounding 2.6 bears per square mile!! That is dense!! We start baiting July 27 clear to the end of the season.
All hunts are 5 days, 6 nights in your own primitive cabin.

What a great bear season we had this year! Lots of bears seen, many harvested, tons of laughs, good food, and awesome friends made. There are many reasons we hunt but one of the greatest is to form friendships with good people who share the same passion for nature. Thank you to all who were part of it and those who will share a campfire with us in the future! Looking forward to 2025.

Great start to the 2024 season! Monday night Hunter filled his tag on this beautiful bear. Between Monday night and Tuesday night we had numerous bear sightings. Our crew in camp has been great and are trying to hold out. We have had a blast so far and we will keep everyone posted.

Huge Congratulations to Mathew on harvesting this boar with a crossbow on youth day! Mathew is tight on time with soccer season fast approaching, and he got it done on his first night out. This young man is already quite the hunter. When asked if this was his 1st bear we learned that this is already his 4th! Nice work Mathew and good luck with soccer.
