P3. 👊

Man our Brandon Oakley Racecars was on a rail. Had a car to win, but all in all did really well. It’s a good feeling to finish 3rd. It’s an even better feeling to be just slightly disappointed in the result even after a great weekend.

Rain hindered a lot of the day, so we unloaded straight to qualifying, where we qualified P4, made the invert and drew a P3 starting spot.

Brandan quickly worked to 2nd, and chased down the leader from half a straight away back. Ended up stalling out at the leader at about half way and battling for a P3 finish, just got a little too tight. Like I said, overall happy with the weekend!

This is one of our favorite weekends of the year, a race we have supported for many years with our friends at Pro Waste Services Inc.. If this is the last weekend for Race of Champions at Lake Erie Speedway, thank you for the last number of years, and we look forward to returning in a different capacity in the future!

One of our favorite weeks of the year…

Pro Waste Services Inc. week 🫡

Next on the docket is Lake Erie Speedway with the Race of Champions Late Models.

Practice Thursday, race Saturday.

We have been doing this for a number of years with Pro Waste now. And we couldn’t be more grateful for their support. What started as college buddies (as seen in the second picture) to senior design project members with SKF Bearings through Penn State Behrend , has turned into a multi-year partnership highlighting one of the best places to work in Erie.

A good day to start one of our favorite weekends of the year and we can’t wait to spend some time with our Erie friends‼️

P6, Hard Charger 👊

Missed it a little in qualifying, well actually a lot. We knew we would have a good race trim car, but just didn’t show the speed on a mock run we had on Friday.

Right from the start of the race it was apparent we were MUCH better than were we qualified. Brandan passed plenty of cars throughout the night. Brandon Oakley made some really good changes at the stage break and Brandan ended up wheeling the car to a 6th place finish. That’s not too bad for qualifying 18th…

A big thank you to Mike Belardi, Bobby Henry and the Jennerstown Speedway Complex LLC staff for figuring out this event in less than two weeks time.

Our Brandon Oakley Racecar was on rails. Just had to use some of our stuff up running through the field.

A big thank you to one of our LONGTIME supports and friends, Jeff Carey for supporting such a great event.

And a BIG THANK YOU, to everyone that came out to support us. It means the world to us.
