It’s been a good one in the gym lately!

In May, we tested our 1-rep max deadlifts, and I’m seriously impressed with the weights everyone put up. More on that tomorrow!

We’ve also been able to get outside more, run a little more, and add in some fun workouts that take advantage of the nicer weather.

Now it’s time to get ready for our next 6-week program: Upper Body Strength.

We’ll be focusing on building stronger presses, getting more comfortable overhead, and improving our push press. Let’s keep the momentum going!

I’ve always tried to work hard, do good, and lead with the right intentions.

Recently, I heard the saying, “A true act of goodwill always sparks another,” and it really resonated with me. That’s something I’ve always believed in. I’ve never wanted to do anything unless there was good behind it.

I feel like Mel's Charities represents that same kind of heart. What they do for the community is truly amazing, and I’m incredibly grateful for them. I couldn’t be happier to use this money to continue giving back and supporting the people around us.

This year has been incredible. Every month has brought something different, and in so many good ways. I’m excited to keep giving, keep growing, and keep promoting health and fitness throughout our community.

Mel's Charities provided a $5000 grant to StarrFit in Port Washington.

The StarrFit Adaptive Wellness Initiative will safely serve individuals with Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and intellectual and developmental disabilities in Ozaukee County. Grant funds will be used for adaptive strength equipment, balance and mobility tools, functional training.
This equipment will be used across multiple weekly small-group classes and one-on-one sessions. Coaching, facility space, insurance, and program administration will be provided as in-kind support by StarrFit because of Mel's support!❤️
