August 23rd PT Co****le will be hosting a fundraiser. One of my employees boys is currently in Mary Bridge hospital recently diagnosed with Leukemia and undergoing treatment. Brody is 13yo and doesn’t deserve this.
It will be a max 36 player switcholio. $25 buy in per player,
$15 to Brody’s family, $10 to payout. We are looking at seeing if people would make gift baskets for silent auction. Doing a 50/50 raffle.

A great read I took from FB post from a Former ACL pro.

Can we have an honest conversation about sandbagging?

I’ve heard every reason for why someone does it:

“I don’t want another bad partner.”

“I’m tired of wasting my $10 entry fee.”

“I only get one night a week to play.”

“I’m just playing the system.”

“Everyone else does it.”

And honestly…I get it.

But I can’t help wondering if those are answers to the wrong question.

The real question is: When did competition stop being enough?

Most of us started playing because we loved to compete.

We loved the uncertainty.

The challenge.

The chance to see what we were capable of.

Then somewhere along the way, uncertainty became something to avoid.

A bad partner became a ruined night.

A tough draw became unfair.

Losing became a waste of an entry fee.

So instead of asking, “How do I play my best?”

We started asking, “How do I give myself the best chance to win?”

That’s a very different relationship with competition.

Because if intentionally losing a few games feels like the smartest strategy…

Maybe it’s worth asking yourself: At what point did winning become more important than competing?

Maybe the real cost of sandbagging isn’t what it does to the bracket.

Maybe it’s what it reveals about our relationship with losing.

Because the healthiest competitors don’t just love winning.

They love finding out what happens when the odds aren’t in their favor.

Airmail today nobody hit so $181 a bag rolls over

Yesterday was a day of fun filled Co****le to raise money to help Erin Reading to recover from a horrible car wreck. We were able to raise $1,760 for her family. Thank you to everyone that was involved to make it a great day.

Next Sunday helps help a friend in need. Her family was in a severe car wreck and needs our help.
