Our mission is to bring our community together by promoting cycling at all levels. The Broken Spoke is a full service, independently, locally owned bike shop in the heart of downtown Port Townsend, Washington, on the Olympic Peninsula. The Broken Spoke opened in December of 2009 with the vision of making Port Townsend the bicycling community of which we all dream, for locals and visitors alike. We look forward to helping you with all your cycling needs.

What an amazing adventure this past weekend! Bike packing trip #2 in the books. 80+ miles in 2 days with 7000+ feet of elevation. Thank you to all that rode with us and thanks to those who came down for an evening of food, fire, and fun! We hope to see more of you on the last of our series on June 26th-28th! Did you know Jefferson Transit now offers SUNDAY services? how cool!

Jefferson Transit is proud to announce the launch of Sunday bus service beginning Sunday, May 3, 2026. Sunday service will mirror current Saturday service levels. Community members and visitors will be able to travel within the community and beyond the county seven days a week.

The introduction of Sunday service comes in direct response to longstanding community interest. This initial rollout will operate as a pilot program, with performance and ridership to be evaluated by the JTA Board in December 2026. Community participation will play a critical role in determining the program’s future, and riders are encouraged to take advantage of this new service to help ensure its continuation.

Jefferson Transit will be hosting a celebration on Sunday, May 3, 2026 at Haines Place from 11:00 - 1:00 pm. All are welcome!
