In 2018, Port Saint Lucie Men’s Softball Inc. was founded.

9 seasons of premier softball were played, eventually getting the name we rock today, Major League Modified.

After the 9th season. A new brand took over. “The Softball Movement” aka “La Liga”

TSM was started by former members of PSLMS. After 4 seasons the company was dissolved by the State of Florida and we came to the rescue!

Today we are proud to announce that The Softball Movement aka “La Liga” has been formed as a non for profit under Port Saint Lucie Men’s Softball Inc. 💪

Major League Modified operations was put to a halt in April 2022 after an incident that took place at Sandhill Crane involving Commissioner Wil Pujols and the commissioner of ”The Softball Movement, Carlos Rodriguez.

During this incident Pujols confronted Rodriguez about drug and alcohol use at the field. Rodriguez responded to Pujols by calling Pujols derogatory names and then grabbing a baseball bat to threaten Pujols.

At this moment Rodriguez’s mother was pushed by a friend in order to stop her son.

This push is now at the center of what could be a defamation lawsuit if demands are not met.

Mr. Rodriguez and others from The Softball Movement went on the record by accusing Pujols of shoving the mother of Rodriguez even though it was Pujols who was shoved and battered according to police reports.

Pujols reached out to Mr. Rodriguez and others in order to retract their statements to no avail.

Pujols has contracted Law Offices of Stuart M. Address, P.A., to sue members of The Softball Movement.
