There is big part of my soul that is my submerged in anxiety, pessimism and fear.
The part of me that believes it’s arrogant and immature to think you can get married to your middle school sweet heart .
You give me the perspective and strength to swing my sword with the full weight of my fear behind it, to dare to dream. You give me the courage to believe in the things that only poets talk about, you are as quick as a whip and as sharp as a knife , you are the most powerful weapon in my Arsenal and I wouldn’t want to have it any other way. Thank you for everything sylvia !!!

Had to move out of my childhood home of 12 years because my older brother sold the house without telling anyone✅

Tear apart the home gym I built ✅

Throw away memories that wouldn’t fit in the storage unit ✅

Had to get a 9-5 to better support my family✅

Had to give my dog up until i can find a permanent place to live✅

Got COVID and the flu at the same time✅

A close family member passed ✅

I’m grateful that these difficulties have come my way now when I am at my strongest and most capable to face them with a smile.
Like I always say , the best super heroes have the hardest backstories. And the best stories always have the most conflict.

True love is a hell of thing
It takes all the miserable realities of life, all the tragedy, hardship, and obstacles. And it makes them divine… It takes the simple act of smiling and imbues it with ultimate meaning. I don’t love you only for the good times ( even though they are great) I love you because you are so angelic you could make hell into a home. Thank you for establishing my relationship with beauty, for being my reason to be courageous.
Maybe I am foolish and overly romantic and young love isn’t meant to work out
If so then the let’s foolishly strive together and write a fairytale worth living

I’ve known you 9 years and this was our first time spending your birthday together. Hopefully I’m invited to the next one

He was only 5’10 and his reach was short even for his height

He didn’t start at a young age
He weighed just under 190 in a division dominated by giants

When he started several coaches turned him down because of his awkward movement and poor coordination

He also is the only heavy weight champion ever to retire undefeated with a perfect 49-0 record (43 Knockouts)

So I think I’m happy with my log clean technique

0. Angle handles forward slightly over your elbows can be pointing nearly straight up when you lap it if your elbows are pointing back it will be hard to generate torque for the clean

1.Approach with a stance wider than your conventional deadlift
Exact width seems to depend on your level of ankle mobility

2. Deadlift it to your hip then squat down while keeping the log close to you and your elbows high.

3. Squat down low enough for the log to be about sternum height, (the higher you can get it the less you have to roll it up saving energy)
if you cant get low enough because of ankle mobility, squat shoes may help, if that is not an option taking a slightly wider stance may also help

4. While keeping the log locked to your sternum with your lats, triple extend while violently rotating your elbows under the log

5. I’m not as confident with the press but I’ve seen people succeed with a variety of techniques, push press, split jerk, “sumo jerk” etc. one thing I’ve noticed is that it’s much more difficult to both use leg drive and drop underneath the log compared to a barbell because weight is centered forward

Any critique and insight from experienced log pressers of all shapes and sizes would be appreciated !
