It is with heavy hearts that we share the sad news of the passing of John Martorano. John was the former president of Sundancers. He will be missed by all who knew him. We send our deepest condolences to his family and friends. Rest In Peace, John 🙏🏼

Not the post we wanted to make, but before the rumor mill runs rampant…
Sundancers is officially closed and there will not be a new track. Things happened way out of our control and the new location is no longer an option.
We were able to find a great, close by location that could have worked if we had the funds to move everything and more time to get it moved.
Unfortunately, we’re out of options for now. We may find a way to start again, but it’s not in the cards at the moment.
While this saddens us to no end, we are so extremely grateful for all of the support we’ve had for the last five years. We were blessed to meet so many amazing people that became family.
Thank you so much to our phenomenal track crew, racers, and spectators. We’re sorry we let you down, but we feel the sting as well.

The Sundancers RC staff would like to thank everyone for coming out and making our last race (at this location) so much fun. We’ve made a lot of memories there and all of you are a huge part of that, so know that each of you is appreciated!
We’re hoping to be up and running at the new location by winter and will keep the page updated. We may be able to squeeze in one more race here but not 100% sure yet.
If anyone is looking for a track to run at until then, check out Mills Pond in Fort Lauderdale and Triple Nickel in Bartow.
