Something that didn’t receive recognition yet: A 19 year old record was broken during the 2026 HotFoot event.
Violet French beat Ambrielle Anderson’s mile time from 2007 with her finish time of 6:45.

Thanks to SKFR volunteer Greg, the annual root marking of the HotFoot course went smoothly, with the time passing quickly, as I enjoyed good company.
