Academy of Dance Academy of Dance has been committed to building a studio of excellence for over 29 years. Academy Of Dance offers dance classes for ages 3-adult.

Our highly trained instructors are dedicated to providing a positive, healthy learning environment where students are encouraged to reach their full potential. Academy Of Dance is located at the top of Mile Hill in Port Orchard Washington, across from the McDonald's. Academy Of Dance holds two main ballets each year, one in December including "The Nutcracker" and one in June. And, all non-ballet students have the opportunity to perform in our twice yearly "Stars of Tomorrow" shows. We have classes to fit all ages, styles and levels throughout the evenings Monday through Friday and Saturday mornings. 🩷🖤 BIG NEWS, AOD FAMILY! 🖤🩷

We are thrilled to announce that AOD will be moving into the former Regal Cinema space as soon as the remodel is complete! 🎉

This is a very exciting step forward for our dancers and families which will provide an incredible new environment for our dancers to learn, grow, and thrive.

To our longtime AOD families, thank you for your continued support, trust, and loyalty. To those who have recently joined us, thank you for choosing AOD to be part of your child’s dance journey. We are so grateful for every one of you!!

Welcome to AOD, Ms. Mackenzie! We are extremely happy to have you joining our team💚

Mackenzie Clarke has been dancing and performing for over 16 years. Throughout her training, she studied extensively in Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Tap, Lyrical, and Contemporary. She began competing at the age of seven and continued competing through her graduation in 2018. Her dedication to dance has taken her throughout Washington, Oregon, and California, where she has continued to grow as both a performer and educator.

Before becoming an instructor, Ms. Mackenzie spent several years serving as a teacher’s assistant and co-teacher, gaining valuable experience working with dancers of various ages and skill levels. She also continues to assist with her former studio’s competition team, sharing her experience and passion with the next generation of dancers.

Mackenzie is passionate about helping dancers build confidence, develop their technique, and most importantly, find joy in their dancing!!

Synergy Dance Company is collecting school supplies to help local students start the school year ready to learn and succeed!

Every notebook & pencil makes a difference. If you’re able, please consider donating and helping us make sure every student has the supplies they need.
