Class Times/Descriptions:
Open Taekwodo/All Belts (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 430pm to 515pm)
The Open Taekwondo Classes are designed for all belts to get together to learn from each other. The classes will focus less on testing requirements and more on basic techniques, sparring drills and self-defense. The Open Taekwondo Class reinforces the techniques learned in the belt specific
programs.
Sport Taekwondo (Monday and Wednesday 515pm to 630pm)
Students that wish to compete in sport Taekwondo; the competition classes offer an intense workout that teaches state of the art techniques required to win Tournaments and Championships on the State, National, and International level. Students must attend regular Taekwondo classes to participate in this training program. White Belt Taekwondo (Tuesday and Thursday 4pm to 430pm)
The White Belt Program is a beginning class designed to teach the students the foundation of traditional Taekwondo. Students will learn the techniques required to test for their yellow belts while starting to promote healthy habits. The White Belt Taekwondo Program runs 4 to 12 weeks (depending on the student) before the student is ready to test for yellow belt. Yellow Belt Taekwondo (Tuesday and Thursday 430pm to 515pm)
The Yellow/High Yellow Belt Taekwondo Program is designed for students that have obtained the yellow belt. In these classes; students continue to learn the basics of Taekwondo and the instructors start to introduce goal setting, self-respect, and self-control. Students can expect to be asked to test for their High Yellow Belt 8 to 16 weeks into the program and their Orange belt 12 to 16 weeks after obtaining their High Yellow Belt. Orange Belt Taekwondo (Tuesday and Thursday 515 to 6pm)
The Orange/High Orange Belt Taekwondo Program starts getting into the nuts and bolts of Taekwondo. Advanced basic Taekwondo skills are instructed while reinforcing appropriate values of being a great Martial Artist. Students at this stage will be introduced to Olympic Style Sparring as well. Students can expect to be asked to test for their High Orange Belts 12 to 32 weeks into the program and for their Green Belt another 12 to 32 weeks into the program. Advanced Taekwondo/Green Belts and above (Tuesday and Thursday 6pm to 650pm)
The Advanced Taekwondo Program is reserved for the students that have obtained a green belt from MuSool Academy or another World Taekwondo Federation Dojang. The focus of this program is to get the student ready for MuSool Black Belt by developing sense of confidence, a stronger body, a sharper mind, and a healthier life style while learning good self-defense. MuSool Hapkido & Jiujitsu Level 1 (Jr: Monday and Wednesday 630pm to 730pm, Sr: Tuesday and Thursday 7pm to 8pm)
This program is designed to teach the connection between mind, body, and spirit. MuSool Hapkido not only teaches the kicks and punches found in other styles such as Taekwondo, but also teaches joint manipulation, throwing techniques, and pressure points. The Level 1 program will give the student a great base for self-defense, a base that level’s 2 and 3 can build on. The MuSool Hapkido students will learn how to focus the mind and body—all while learning a remarkable self-defense. MuSool Hapkido & Jiujitsu Level 2/3 (Sr: Tuesday and Thursday 8pm to 9pm)Once Level 1 is mastered and a Green Belt is awarded, the MuSool Hapkido Student will be allowed to attend the Level 2 classes and start working on their Purple Belt. Level 3 is for the students that have obtained a Purple Belt and wish to work on their Brown and Black Belts. In the Level 2 and 3 programs, the students learns the more advanced Hapkido techniques.
