I’ve had a few former students from SC check in recently and shared they’d been feeling a little flat and not really into practicing.
When I asked what goal they were working on, all you heard was 🦗 🦗 🦗
Without a goal, aren’t ya just kinda going through the motions? I’ve gotten caught up in it personally, too, with lifting or even hockey.
But EVERY TIME I set aside some time and get honest with what I want to achieve, that fire is LIT, and I’m hungry!
What is one of your goals now? Let’s go short-term.
Examples: a speed goal, lower your walks in your next game (or have none!) certain first pitch strike percentage— the important thing is that it’s YOURS. Don’t compare your goals to those of others— we’re all on a different path!
