The most wonderful time of the year is coming and coming quick! WATERFOWL SEASON! If you know me, you know that I live and breathe waterfowl hunting and it’s deep in my blood! September teal season is one of the easiest and fast paced/quick action decoying of fast flying waterfowl that can be experienced! Hunting shallow freshwater flooded flats and hearing teal splash into the decoys before shooting time, cutting air with their wings, just gets your blood pumping! With only a 9 day season, you gotta get with me quick if you want any of our remaining open dates. We look forward to seeing everyone we get to share teal season with each year and also seeing new faces coming out to experience one of the most exciting hunts there is for a wingshooter! Now’s the time to get on the books if you are looking for an alligator hunt in Texas. Season opens Sept 10th and runs through Sept 30th. Prime alligator habitat near Port Lavaca, Victoria where we hunt creeks, marshes, lakes, rivers, bayous and coastal sloughs are that are teeming with alligators! Single hunters, corporate groups, families, bachelor parties…..everyone is welcome and we cater to each and every group to make sure you get your gator! Hunts available for boot gators or belt gators or BIG gators for your trophy room. For 30 yrs we’ve guided hunters for gators in our area and have access to thousands of acres of diverse habitat. You can also book a cast/blast style hunt where you hunt teal, doves or hogs while you are here or go out fishing. Just about whatever you are looking for, I’ll make it happen. TEXAS GEESE 2025/26

We had some incredible Tx coast goose hunts this season with some of the strangest weather ever. From warm temps and extremely dry conditions to calm/clear days and bright moonlit nights, this season had its share of challenges. Prep work for for 2026/27 started today to continuing providing for our migrating waterfowl as well as our loyal customers. We look forward to next season and seeing everyone again! Special thanks to my loyal landowners, farmers and friends. A special thanks to my wife for putting up with me being gone all day, everyday and putting up with the circus that comes with a dry/mild waterfowl season. Books are open! I always hate to see it end but it always does every year…….With one of the mildest and driest winters we’ve ever seen during duck season, we had our challenges for sure. We worked hard, long hours and did our very best to put our groups on good shoots which sometimes involved lots of driving and lots of blind building each day to stay on the birds. I wanted to share a few pics from the second split of duck season before I get going hard into geese til Feb 15th(wont post none of my goose hunts until it closes)………….Thank you to all of our loyal customers, landowners, farmers and friends for bearing with me and trusting in me.
