Aiden DeLeon connects 68-yards with Jal Leal Callis for the game winner with less than :45 seconds left.

Calhoun stormed back from being down by thirteen in the first half. The game came down to a fourth down play and Calhoun was stopped a yard short. Victoria West took over and it took two plays to find the end zone.

The Sandies concluded the IWA Varsity Softball Tournament in Portland with a record of 4 wins, 1 loss, and 1 tie.

Player highlights from the tournament included:

Ella Lange: .625 batting average, 10 hits, 4 doubles, 2 RBIs, and 8 runs scored.

Kally Billings: .615 batting average, 8 hits, 1 double, 2 triples, 2 home runs, 8 RBIs, and 5 runs scored.

Jordynn Pena: .462 batting average, 6 hits, 2 doubles, 1 home run, 7 RBIs, and 6 runs scored.

Kailey Treumer: Inside-the-park home run.

The Sandies will host Robstown tonight for their home opener.

⚾️⚾️⚾️ Sandcrabs rally to defeat Tuloso-Midway, 6-3.

The Sandcrab offense surged in the top of the seventh inning to secure a 6-3 victory. Ethen Ramirez and Avery Svetlik collectively drove in five runs with their doubles.
Ramirez picked up the victory after relieving Tucker Amerson, pitching three innings and giving up one run on two hits, while Amerson pitched four innings, striking out six and giving up four hits.

🏀🏀 Sandies stun Lady Ricebirds to claim Bi-District Championship.

The Sandies utilized an 8-0 run to finish the third quarter with a 26-19 lead. Their defense limited El Campo to 11 points in the second half, en route to a 36-24 victory.

They will face Tuloso-Midway in the Area Round. The Lady Cherokees defeated Valley View, 46-34 on Tuesday evening.
