Because of Title IX, generations of girls have had the chance to compete, lead, and discover what they're capable of through sports.

We're excited to partner with Project Play: Southeast Michigan to bring that spirit to life through Girls in Sports Day—a FREE field trip experience for girls in 1st-8th grade. On June 26, participants will join girls from across Southeast Michigan for a day of trying new sports, building confidence, making friends, and having fun.

Thanks to Project Play, transportation and lunch are provided, allowing girls to travel together by bus with YMCA staff and experience a day designed to inspire the next generation of athletes, leaders, and changemakers.

Camp Wanacombak is the YMCA of the Blue Water Area's premier summer day camp, providing kids with a safe, active, and fun environment all summer long.
