The River Rat Society Do you love the water? Swimming, Floating, Diving, Boating, Sailing, Tubing? Then you’re in the right place! Keeping the Tradition alive

The River Rat Society was founded in the 1970’s by a group of friends who got together every summer to float down the shore of the St.Clair River. The groups name came from a sign that hung on an old boat house that read River Rat Club. The group decided to call themselves the River Rat Society.

Good morning Float fans! ++PLEASE SHARE THIS WITH EVERYONE++

Today's weather is going to be low-mid 70's and windy.
Slight chance of rain later in the afternoon.
Take necessary precautions if you choose to float.

WEAR YOUR LIFEJACKETS.

The West wind will force floaters towards the Canadian shoreline, be sure to bring paddles to return to the American side.
Consider a shorter course - exiting at the Moose Lodge or the beaches south of the Black River!

If conditions are too rough, don't enter the water.
