Good morning Float fans! ++PLEASE SHARE THIS WITH EVERYONE++

Today's weather is going to be low-mid 70's and windy.
Slight chance of rain later in the afternoon.
Take necessary precautions if you choose to float.

WEAR YOUR LIFEJACKETS.

The West wind will force floaters towards the Canadian shoreline, be sure to bring paddles to return to the American side.
Consider a shorter course - exiting at the Moose Lodge or the beaches south of the Black River!

If conditions are too rough, don't enter the water.

CRITICAL INFORMATION

Front page of today's ( Friday ) Times Herald, USCG has temporarily made it mandatory for all minors to wear life jackets during the float down.

Sunday's weather is calling for Super Hot temperatures and a STRONG SOUTH WIND

This could slow the progress of floaters to a standstill. THIS MAY BE A LONG FLOAT.

It is advisable that floaters plan to exit at available public locations before Marysville.

Rix's on the Rocks will be letting Floaters out of the water on their property, with an available shuttle. Contact Rix's for more details. Address: 3136 Military Street

The Moose Lodge will also be letting floaters exit.

Desmond Landing's BEACH area MAY be an acceptable exit location.

Public parks such as Lincoln Park and Kiefer Park with ladders are other options.
