After a 5 1/2-hour wind delay yesterday I got to fish with first time client Roger and his family from IL. We left the dock at 11am and headed east stopping about 3 miles NW of where we have been fishing so we could fish downhill towards the previous charter spot. We fished 38FOW to 42FOW throughout the entire 6.3 mile troll SE.

Same program except the spoons took 95% of the fish... 8 Dreamweavers (4 per corner) pulling assorted spoons at 0, 1, 2 and 3 setting all at 70' port & 60' starboard leads at 2.1 mph. Also ran 6 PWC Lites with 2oz in-line weights behind Off Shore Tackle Company planer boards at 100', 80' & 60' leads

Another gorgeous day on Lake Erie yesterday for retuning clients Jeff and his crew from OH. We ran to the same spot as the previous charter however this time we were far from the only boat in the area fishing. We caught a lot of fish in shallow, but the better grade came out deeper. Started in 20FOW and finished in 44FOW.

Same program... 8 Dreamweavers (4 per corner) pulling assorted spoons at 0, 1, 2 and 3 setting all at 55' port & 45' starboard leads at 2.1 mph. Also ran 6 PWC Lites with 2oz in-line weights behind Off Shore Tackle Company planer boards at 70', 60' & 50' leads.

The temperature was hot and so was the bite for first time clients Tracy and his buddies from OH. We headed east and setup in 20FOW and trolled NNE to about 42FOW. The bite was fantastic and cleared all the lines a few times. We did have to go searching for a planer board twice due some OR18 clips needing to be tighten up.

The program was 8 Dreamweavers (4 per corner) pulling assorted spoons at 0, 1, 2 and 3 setting all at 55' port & 45' starboard leads at 2.1 mph. Also ran 6 PWC Lites with 2oz in-line weights behind Off Shore Tackle Company planer boards at 70', 60' & 50' leads.

Another absolutely beautiful day on Lake Erie yesterday for returning client Travis and his buddy from MN. Sunny with a light NE breeze and perfect temps...could not ask for better conditions. We headed out east again and trolled from the north to the south with a crazy fast bite. We got all of our fish in a very short period of time and continued fun fishing releasing fish that were caught in the top 1/3rd of the water column.

The program was 8 Dreamweavers (4 per corner) pulling assorted spoons at 0, 1, 2 and 3 setting all at 60' port & 40' starboard leads in 43-45 FOW at 2.1 mph. Once we had cooler full I moved up all the baits to 30' port and 25' starboard leads so we could safely release the fish and to my surprise we started catching nicer size fish then what we caught deeper...figures lol.

Yesterday I fished with first time clients Chad and his wife from AL and their friend from MI. We pushed off at 6am and headed about 2 miles east of Kelleys Island and started trolling north. Before I could finish setting my 6 Dreamweavers we had 13 walleye on ice. Crazy fast bite!!

The program was 6 Dreamweavers (3 per corner) pulling assorted spoons at 0, 1.5, and 3 setting all at 55' port & 45' starboard leads in 43-45 FOW at 2.1 mph. Also ran 6 PWC Lites with 2oz in-line weights behind Off Shore Tackle Company planer boards at 100', 80' & 60' leads.

Yesterday I fished with returning client Starr and her husband from OH. I decided to try getting away from the huge crowd of boats so we started up on the Canadian line north of Kelleys Island Shoal and trolled toward the NW corner of Kelleys Island. We had a little cool wind out of the north but the sun did finally show itself towards the end of the charter.

The program was 6 Dreamweavers (3 per corner) pulling assorted spoons at 0, 1.5, and 3 setting all at 55' port & 65' starboard leads in 34-44 FOW at 2.1 mph. Also ran 3 PWC Lites with 2oz in-line weights behind Off Shore Tackle Company planer boards at 90', 70' & 50' leads.

Sunday started off a little foggy but the winds were minimal for returning client Matt and his family from OH. We started about 1 mile west of West Bay Kelleys and trolled to the NE along the west side of Kelleys Shoal. Not a fast bite but the grade of fish was really nice.

The program was 6 Dreamweavers (3 per corner) at 0, 1.5, and 3 setting all at 55' & 65' leads in 34-44 FOW at 2.1 mph. Also ran 4 PWC Lites with 2oz in-line weights behind Off Shore Tackle Company planer boards at 90' & 70' leads and 2 Berkley Deep Hit Sticks NN12 at 120' leads. PWC LItes took most of the fish with the bigger ones coming on the spoon in the pic below.

Two beautiful days on Lake Erie with new client John and his buddies form OH. We fished yesterday afternoon and this morning in the same area very close to West Harbor and the bite was pure mayhem. As fast as I could get rods out they were coming in 2 times faster.

The program was 6 Dreamweavers (3 per corner) at 0, 1.5, and 3 setting all at 30' leads in 22 FOW at 2.0 mph. Also ran 4 PWC Lites with 2oz in-line weights behind Off Shore Tackle Company planer boards at 30' & 40' leads and 2 Berkley Deep Hit Sticks NN12 at 60' leads. PWC LItes took most of the fish with the bigger ones coming on the spoons (weird).

Yesterday, 3-year-old Murphy took big fish for the day!! I had returning client Tim, his wife Allison and their young daughter Murphy from Columbus, OH. Despite the building SW winds having Murphy onboard was awesome. Murphy and Tim fished with me 2 years ago, so this wasn't her first rodeo...lol. I kept teasing her throughout the day that she needed to kiss her walleye which wasn't going to happen until she started reeling in our last fish of the day and she announced, "I'm going to kiss this one". Too funny and an absolutely great day with Tim and his family. I love having children on the boat, especially when they as adorable as Murphy.

We started trolling down by Clinton Reef and trolled downhill as far as the Scotts Point Buoy. We caught our nicer fish right away and then it slowed down by the cliffs then caught a few smaller males from Mouse to Scotts. I really would like to get out towards D can area as I haven't fished that area yet this season...Heck, I haven't made it past F can.

Program was the same as previous charter.
