The Bills QB revealed he played through a broken bone in his foot—specifically the fifth metatarsal—after re-aggravating an old injury against Cleveland. Despite the pain, Allen pushed through until surgery was completed this past Monday in Birmingham. Rest up, QB1. 😤

Wow? Anyone surprised?

The Buffalo Bills made one of the boldest moves of the 2026 offseason, and it sent a clear message, good isn’t good enough anymore.

Following a surprising late playoff exit and the firing of Sean McDermott, the Bills have reportedly promoted offensive coordinator Joe Brady to head coach. It’s a massive vote of confidence in a 36-year-old playcaller who helped unlock some of the best football of Josh Allen’s career.

Brady has been a steady presence in Allen’s development since arriving in Buffalo in 2022, first as quarterbacks coach and later as offensive coordinator. Under his guidance, the Bills’ offense remained explosive, efficient and aggressive, with Brady earning Assistant Coach of the Year finalist honors along the way. Now, the organization believes he’s the one who can take the final step McDermott couldn’t, getting Buffalo over the postseason hump.

This isn’t a reset, it’s a pivot. The roster is built to win now, Allen is in his prime and ownership clearly didn’t want to waste another year chasing “almost.” Promoting Brady signals continuity on offense paired with urgency at the top.

The expectations are massive. The margin for error is small. But in Buffalo, the goal is clear.
