🎉Please Welcome Odalys Valdes to the UWCC Board.
With more than 30 years of experience as a paralegal across the legal, nonprofit, and public sectors, Odalys brings a strong commitment to service, collaboration, and community to the United Way of Charlotte County Board.
Before relocating to Southwest Florida, she served as Foundation Director for the North Hudson Community Action Corporation in northern New Jersey, where she developed community partnerships and led outreach efforts focused on expanding access to healthcare and essential social services.
Today, she serves as a Paralegal for the City of Punta Gorda, providing legal and administrative support to the City Manager, City Attorney, City Council, and city departments. She is also a proud Leadership Charlotte Class of 2025 graduate.
Throughout her career, she has remained passionate about giving back and believes strong communities are built through service, partnership, compassion, kindness, and integrity.
Outside of work and community involvement, Odalys enjoys spending time with family, cooking, listening to music, traveling, taking on home improvement projects, and staying actively involved in the community.
