Hello Thursday Amvets dancers!!! See you at 3PM till 4:30 for another class of fun dances.
Another Bar Song on tap as I predict it will be done all over! Some others as well as open dancing.
Appreciation to all who attend. Hope this class is helpful in preparation for socials etc. As always if you have any question please feel free to ask!

Some people were asking about membership cards. Here is your answer. Local Aerie Secretaries will no longer give out membership cards. After dues are paid or after iniation of a new member grand will mail out cards. Let your local secretary know if you move!!

The social this Saturday is for all levels. Somebody remarked ~ unfairly (and not to me) ~ that the songs played are only for the dances I teach which couldn't be further than the truth. I have the same songs as the Fork plays. Most of us know all those dances and like to just dance. To be fair when the social is advertised as all levels requests can't be only for a few who know the dance. To many of those in a row and people start to loose interest. I did remark to Mike that he can't take to many requests where the floor doesn't fill. It's about dancing ~ socializing~ and having fun after all come come on out and enjoy the AC and fans we have. IF there are any suggestions or complaints please see me personally and we will work it out

Guess what this Saturday is? Why it’s our monthly social from 1-3:30! Come to the Amvets on Chancellor Blvd in North Port to join us in an afternoon of dancing. Hamburgers and hot dogs available for purchase till about 3, cooked on the grill! There will be a 50/50 that we’ll split between the winner and the Amvets for them to decide which charity they will gift it to. DJMike at the controls taking requests. $8 gets you in. No need to be a member of the Amvets to join in. See you all Saturday.
