A multi-facited facility that can help with any fitness needs and goals. There is a fitness center, full size gymnasium, outdoor stadium with a track. Calling all 7th grade Boys!

Does your child want to take his game to the next level against elite level competition?

Did he sit the bench for his school team, but wants to work his way into the rotation … or maybe start next season?

Was he cut this year, but plans to tryout again next?

Well, he has two choices: (1) play at Barfield with the same kids he always does, under the same coaches he always does, doing the same things he always does, OR (2) he can play for a professional coach, who will work on the individual skills necessary to make an impact in a team game, and for a program that provides him with the most important training tool … court time.

ASD has an almost decades long history of turning average players into elite ballers. We’ve helped players fulfill their dreams of playing in college, scoring 1000 points in high school, or just making varsity.

Great day for ASD Athletic Club in OCMD today. Both 7th grade and 8th grade girls advanced to the championship bracket with wins in pool play!

7th grade defeated Berks Warriors 23-19 and 8th grade beat the Berks Warriors 26-20.

7th grade will play in the semi-finals against the York Bombers tomorrow at noon, while 8th grade will face Spartan Sports at 2pm.

7th grade girls are starting to click!

They played really well this morning at the Play for Pink Challenge in Glen Mills, going 1-1. They took a tough 31-28 loss to Montgomery Fusion in the opener, but closed well, beating Berks Warriors 21-9 in the ender.

First Dub of the season!

ASD 7th grade girls defeated Wyoming Valley Crush 33-32 in OT in their last pool play game of the weekend at the Hoop Battle at Conpetitive Edge Sports in King of Prussia.

Veronica Scott led the way with 19 points. Ana Ackerman chipped in 9.

With high school seasons winding down, ASD Athletic Club is looking for high school girls currently in grades 9 through 11, who’d like to participate in this upcoming AAU season.

AAU basketball affords athletes who dream of hooping on the college level the opportunity to showcase their talents in front of NCAA coaches. Exposure is the name of the game for recruitment and that all begins on the AAU circuit.

ASD Athletic Club will be hosting tryouts for the the 2021 AAU season for 7th grade and 8th grade girls on SATURDAY, March 6th at 8:00AM at the Four Square Gospel Church in Pottsville.

The tryout was changed from Monday due to some conflicts.

The tryout will last 90 minutes, followed by a brief parent meeting to discuss practice dates and times, tournament dates, costs and fees, etc. Cost is $5.00 for each athlete to help defer the costs of renting the facility.

It's AAU season once again. We are looking for legit hoopers in 7th through 11th grade (girls) and boys in 6th and 7th grade to put together a few teams for this spring/summer.

AAU season starts in early March and runs through June. Each one of our teams practices twice per week and plays in 5-6 tournaments all across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Maryland.

We don't participate in local rec tournaments. We play the best teams with the most elite players in the tri-state area. Players don't get better racking up dubs against the same girls they play against all winter. They only get better by traveling and playing in the best tournaments against the best teams. That's what we offer. ASD has been doing it for almost a decade and has developed some of the best players in the Schuylkill League over the past few seasons.
