Long weekend = more time outside

Make the most of the Memorial Day weekend by spending an afternoon at Dorrance Park. Hike the trails, hop on your bike or let the kids run free at the playground. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy the fresh air, check out the fresh blooms, find some funky mushrooms and recharge.

As you’re out exploring, help keep the park clean by using trash bins and respecting the space.

Happy Earth Day!

Students from Riverdale Middle School joined Park Ranger Mike this morning at Dorrance Park to help spruce things up. Leaves were cleared, litter was picked up and the park is looking better than ever.

Proof that a little effort goes a long way. If you’re heading outside today, give the earth some love right back.
