Round 3 in the Taylor Bayou Bass Club Tournament Series concluded yesterday with the bass pattern evolving.
Coming off the heels of a late cold front, fish were less aggressive, even with water temperatures increasing above 66° later in the day. High winds moved in midday, pushing many anglers into more secluded areas.
Congratulations to Hayze Thomspon for completing his first Taylor Bayou Bass Club tournament as a junior member with his dad, Andrew Thompson.
Finally, congratulations to the first-place winners , Anthony Baker & James Talbot, who weighed in their heaviest stringer to date on the Taylor & Hillebrandt Bayou system. With an impressive 13lb bag, anglers were able to see how healthy the bayou remains.
AOY points are adding up, but no team is out of the running with six regular scheduled tournaments and one make-up tournament left in the series.
