New guest angler Pat went fiahing recently and we had the great fortune to catch this 14 inch tripletail! We also went on to catch some redfish from tailing schools but the tripletail was the real catch of the day!

Port Aransas TX
Well!!! The word is out on the grapevine finnaly and the beans got spilled so I might as well post something to satisfy the algorithms! Tailing schools of redfish have started to show up. Thwyve been making appearances for about w weeks now. We are seeing as many as 6 schools per day with as many as 50 fish in each school. Some areas have produced fairly consistently for 2 weeks now, and others had them here today but gone tomorrow... it all depends on alot of things.
Fly fishing Port Aransas dates in May and June are still available. Call Capt Kenjo to get on the books for your chances at chasing tailing redfish schools!

Frequent angler Clint booked a trip recently while his brother was in town. And boy did we really get on the fish that time! It was mid day and we were fly fishing the ditches of Port Aransas, at that!

Fly fishing this winter has been exceptional in Port Aransas. The mild weather trends should continue and even though the water levels have been very low due to the severe drought, the redfish are here and happy! Spring Break is coming soon, so book your next fly fishing adventure with Kenjo Fly!
