I got involved in local Santa Barbara politics, just because during pandemic paranoid people started following me around. It was weird. I had stalkers. Religious extremists and Neo-liberals. I just took the time and energy to point out on social media that our mayor, Catny Murillo, got elected with 28.2% of the vote. The other 71.8% of the voters wanted someone else to be mayor. Later she decided not to do the job of being mayor and maybe we shouldn't vote for her again. Another City Council member, Oscar Gutierrez, Cathy Murillo's little protogé whom she had financed his election, became Mayor Pro Tem. His CV said he went to University and grew up in Santa Barbara. He'd never had a job or any other experience and still lived at home. The budget of the City of Santa Barbara is bigger than many small countries. This was all scheming by Das Williams and the local Democrats party. The mayor didn't get re-elected. Before she left office I got evicted and lost my Section Eight voucher no doubt because of pressure by the Democrats on the weird noe-liberal Housing Authority City of Santa Barbara. It's a whole big gooey mess of strange religious beliefs and corruption running both parties. All they want is power and careers for themselves even though they have zero qualifications and zero achievements. Oh well. This is how countries collapse. 🍺

I saw grey whale close up at Hammond's. Out by myself on a little day. First the dolphins jumped all around it then it just steamed past about 75 feet/35 metre away... Memories. All o got now.

That was my thirties. Lots of surfing and sailing, then I got sick.

My forties and fifties were learning to cope with brain damage, taking classes, motorcycles for a few years and lots of walking.

Now, in my sixties it's just slowing down as everything falls apart and poverty thanks to Ron L. Wolfe and Associates and this horrible midandrist, Beatrice Valanzuela, at Housing Authority City of Santa Barbara, Das Williams, Cathy Murillo, Oscar Gutierrez and that whole newagey neoliberal bunch in Santa Barbara. Nasty people that need and deserve to be replaced. Partisan politics should have no place in local government.
