🚧🤠 A BIG DAY FOR THE RODEO! 🤠🚧

The trucks have arrived, and with them comes the next chapter for our arena.

This week, our new Priefert arena materials were delivered, and we couldn’t be more excited about what this means for the future of the Olympic Peninsula Rodeo Association, our contestants, our spectators, and our community.

What you’re seeing here is the result of months of planning, meetings, grant writing, county coordination, fundraising, and countless volunteer hours behind the scenes. These improvements will help us create a safer, better, and more enjoyable experience for everyone who comes through our gates.

A huge thank you goes out to our volunteers who continue to show up and get the job done, and to Hermann Brothers for providing equipment, dirt work, and support to help make this project possible.

This is more than new fencing and panels, it’s an investment in the future of rodeo on the Olympic Peninsula.

We’re just getting started. 🤠🐎

What a day. 🤍

We had an incredible turnout, amazing riders, and truly the perfect weather - honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better day out on the trail.

From start to finish, it was all smiles, great energy, and a whole lot of fun!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to ride, support, and be part of it and to our amazing local businesses and board members for donating such awesome prizes. This event wouldn’t be what it is without you.

We’re already counting down until the next one…

Wondering what the Poker Ride trail looks like? 👀
Here’s a little glimpse from the saddle…

🐎 About 5-ish miles
🌲 A mix of logging road, open areas & wooded trail
💧 A few puddles + a tiny creek crossing
🌤️ And the best part… the weather is looking GOOD

It’s a fun, easygoing ride - nothing too wild - perfect for just about everyone.

So whether you’re seasoned or just out for a good time, this ride is all about enjoying the day, the views, and the experience.
