Construction for the Port Angeles Pumptrack is happening starting August 2021. We have received grant funding from the State Recreation and Conservation Office, the City of Port Angeles Lodging Tax Fund, and the Clallam County Lodging Tax Fund . Many local businesses and organizations have generously provided support, including our Title Sponsor, First Federal. The facility will be located next to

the skatepark and near the Dream Playground in Erickson Playfield (across Race Street from Civic Field) and open daily at no charge. A unique feature of the PA Pumptrack will be an accessible loop adjacent to the main track. This will allow folks in wheelchairs to join friends and family in the fun, plus give new cyclists an easy way to start honing their skills. The PA Pumptrack will complement the upcoming Race Street improvement project that includes a multiuse pedestrian/bike path from Front Street to the Olympic National Park visitor center. It will give locals and visitors alike a fun, free activity year-round. Designed by world-class bike park firm Velosolutions, the Port Angeles Pumptrack will also host competitions and could even become a stop on the Red Bull Pumptrack World Championship Series.

Hey greater Port Townsend area folks. We're about to get noisy!

You may have heard chatter about an effort to build a Pump Track in Port Townsend, and it's true, a group has been steadfastly working on the less glamorous details for a couple years. However, we've held off on pressing the community Get Pumped button until we were sure this was something that could really happen.

Well, the design is killer, the Fairgrounds is on board as the site, and the city permits are in hand so we're doing it. We're officially pressing the button and asking our community to join us in bringing a first class Pump Track and Bike Park to the area. Not surprisingly, the next step is fundraising to demonstrate community support in several upcoming grant applications.

So, through the end of April we're running a campaign with free informational events, a night of Comedy and Great Food, and an amazing online auction.
