City of Pontotoc - Park & Rec Pontotoc Park & Rec offers baseball, softball, tball, soccer, and flag football. Some of our fields are available for rent for practices and tournaments.

Tonight's (8/20/26) flag football games are canceled. Coaches will be contacted with make-up schedules.

We are looking for a Soccer Game Night Supervisor - $15/hour. Primary duties include (but are not limited to) making sure assigned referees are signed in and at the proper field location, crowd control, and rule disputes. Must be at least 18 years old and have reliable transportation to get to and from work. If interested, please email the Park Director - [email protected] by September 1, 2026.

🚨Flag Football Update

All flag football games scheduled for tonight are cancelled.

Coaches will be provided with a makeup date for tonight’s games. We’ll share the new date and details as soon as they are confirmed.

Registration for Soccer ($50) and Just Kicking ($40) is August 3rd - 28th. Soccer is for boys and girls born in 2014-2022 and Just Kicking is for boys and girls born in 2023. Forms must be picked up at the park and rec office (374 Hwy 15 S) and payments can be made by cash, check, or money order.

We know teams are anxious to get back to practicing and people want to reserve fields for tournaments so we wanted to provide an update on our field renovations. While we have completed sod installation on 4 fields and are partically done with another, our progress has been hindered by weather. We are at the mercy of the rain and the sod farm's ability to get into thier fields to deliver product. Please continue to be patient with us while we make the repairs that many of you have wanted for for so long. Our crew is working hard to improve field conditions to make our parks better.

Flag Football Registration starts today (June 1) and goes through June 26. Cost is $50 and registration is open to boys AND girls going into 1st-6th grade for the 2026-2027 school year.
