I’ve put up with a lot of nonsense with eBay in the 20+ years of using their services. But this is just getting out of hand. is holding funds until at least 3 days after delivery on all my items. When I reached out to their chat help, they said that it was a new policy and I received communication for it (which I did not, I searched all of my messages from eBay). Because I had 37 cases of items not received, they didn’t even give me a time period. All of my metrics are above standard or highest rated. I sell near 1000’s of cards a month, never had extended holds for any reason. They told me that to be reevaluated, I’d need to ship everything on time, which is 99% of the time, actually. That I need to have the post office scan everything when I drop it off (same post office for years, same guy for years, always scans). I asked specifically what I needed to do to release the holds and they kept saying the same thing, which I am complying with. eBay standard envelope process cannot be held against the buyer as I have done everything they asked, I print everything from their site and always have the tracking uploaded. I cannot call regarding this as they don’t give that an option any longer, the chat does nothing, and I can’t get a number for their legal team, but this nonsense has to stop. To top it all off, when the funds do get released, they just go to the shipping labels I printed for everything in the past week before I get a dime. If anyone has had a similar experience or can help me out, myself and the community would appreciate it.
