I didn’t bring my kids to Jiu-Jitsu to get closer to them. That part just happened.
The conversations got different. The respect went both ways. They’ve seen me struggle on the mat and keep going, and that sticks with them longer than any advice I’ve ever given.

Jiu-Jitsu just happens to be one of the best places for all of that to unfold.
