Fast Friday is taking the night off this Friday, September 4 at Seekonk Speedway for the Labor Day holiday weekend.

But we won’t be away for long… we’ll be back next Friday for Round 2 of the Sunoco Drive for the Cup Playoffs! 🏆🔥

After taking the win in the first round, we're ready to get back on track and keep the playoff momentum going! 🏁

What a weekend for the Richie Helger Racing team! Congratulations to Richie Helger Jr. for his win in the Sport Truck playoff opener!

The Rhode Island Shriner clowns may have been at Seekonk Speedway last night, but the RHR team was not clowning around in the Sport Truck playoff opener! 🏆

Richie wheeled it from 7th to the front, used the outside lane to get the lead, and drove away to his second Sport Truck win. 🏁

🏁 FAST FRIDAY PLAYOFFS – ROUND 1 RECAP 🏁

The first week of the Sunoco Drive for the Cup Playoffs couldn’t have finished any better! 🏆🔥

The Richie Helger Racing #42 started 8th in the 25-lap feature. Of the four playoff drivers, he was starting second-to-last after laying down a faster qualifying time than the others.
And this race was definitely not without excitement!

Mason was fast, smooth and patient, working the top groove and waiting for exactly the right opportunity to make his move. As the laps wound down, he put himself in position to strike — and with just TWO TURNS LEFT on the FINAL LAP, Mason made the move for the lead and took over P1! 🏁🔥

From an 8th-place start to a LAST-LAP PASS FOR THE WIN — what a way to kick off the playoffs! 🏆
