We were “done swimming for the day”. We had moved to the yard to play, my baby couldn’t fit through the door of the play house because his puddle jumper was too wide, he asked me to take it off and I did. We were done and the pool gate was locked. He found an open door to the pool house. I’ll forever live with knowing that. You don’t have to!

Please put your children in swim lessons. Please don’t let them be dependent on a puddle jumper. Last summer lessons were “full” so I gave up and said “oh, we will do it next summer.” Don’t wait, drive further if you have to.
