I’m sure everyone this week is out there “trying to hit the ball harder”

Maybe try a different route...

Ever thought about gaining muscle mass?

Sure it can be detrimental for many athletes like sprinters or long jumpers,

But not us golfers 😉

We do not need to propel our body weight and worry about extra mass slowing us down.

Are mission is to try and produce as much force as possible on an external object!

By increasing your overall load behind the golf swing will likely increase your ground reaction force which intern can have major implication on your club head speed, consequently allowing you to hit all kinds of disgusting bombs!

Bryson here has taken full advantage of that!!

Gaining extra body mass is great way to increase your yardages, especially when this extra mass is muscle tissue and contributes to strength & power production.

Now please do not miss-interpret this to mean stuffing your face with fired chicken or standing in front of the mirror doing curls like bubba!

Simply... increase your calorie intake, implement compound lifts and appropriate rep ranges to get that desire additional timber!

Fitness & wellbeing isn’t just about lifting weights and cardio.

It’s deeper than just turning up and going through the motions.

It’s about being intentional and making the organic shift in our mentality to take ownership of our physical and mental wellbeing.

It’s about taking control of your choices and having the ability to identify your strengths and weaknesses.

Don’t chase that weight loss goal or dwell on your insecurities... instead, enjoy the process - be patient and positive. Love your body and love the journey.

Don’t compare your chapter 4 to someone’s else’s chapter 8!

Don’t expect the change, live in the moment and love the life you’re living now!

Typical response… “fairway” , “not out of bounds”

When we are specific about our direction it allows us to see our destination. The detailed focus provides purpose, and that purpose leads to the outcome, or destination, we desire.

Random yields random. In other words, if we settle for anything, we can expect anything.

Be specific in what you want out of your each shot, your training goal and more importantly what you want out of life!

🚨Injury prevention 🥴 🔝

⭕️ Without adequate mobility you will fail to create the separation between your pelvis and torso in transition, a key move for high quality and powerful swings.

⭕️ An increased range of movement will result in a longer back swing giving you more time to generate momentum and force in the downswing - resulting in an increased club head speed.

⭕️ A lack of mobility can create assisting muscle groups to compensate / make up for what your primary can’t. Because your assisting muscles are typically smaller / weaker, forcing them to Handle excessive torque is a recipe for injury!

Improved mobility can have a direct impact on your golf swing so if you wanna hit bombs, not get injured and feel amazing - get In touch! 🤙
