Yesterday our friend Adam Vigil and his crew at Creating Connections came to Salida and hosted a horsemanship clinic. Our Angelview riders attended and got to learn a lot! And at the end, Adam worked with our Mustang, Scout. Scout has not been worked with in 3 years and needed a refresher. Adam layed him down and went home with him for some additional training. Such a spectacular day!

What a day! It was like Christmas came early. Two of my students got horses! Phaedrus got a paint mare named Dakota (this is going to be confusing😂). And Peyton has a Palamino gelding named Champ. Our goals are set for the upcoming year as Phaedrus goes into 4H with Dakota and Peyton wants to do Royalty with Champ. I’m so excited for their journeys!
