FUN FACTS ABOUT ME😘

🤓 I am a big history buff, originally went to college to be a high school history teacher

👩🏻‍🍼my first year of school I got a job at the daycare on campus and fell in love with teaching little kids

👩🏻‍🎓I switched my major and got a BA in early childhood education.. taught preschool for 5 years and directed a school for 2

💪🏻 I stepped away from education in 2018 to persue my passion in fitness.. started training full time in 2020

Photos are from this weekend, I visited the USS Alabama- I love travenling to museums and getting to learn and see firsthand where the history was made

2555 days.... ROUGHLY 😘

When I started my journey I had NO idea what I was doing
My plan was simple
☝🏻eat AS LITTLE AS POSSIBLE jk it was like 1100 calories
- no sweets
- no soda
- no eating out
- MOSTLY salads because “carbs are bad”

✌🏻30 minutes of cardio daily
- followed by HIGH rep light weight lifting ONLY on the areas i didnt like

🤟🏻NEVER take a day off

THIS WORKED!!!!
I lost weight, a lot of it actually
I went from 205 to about 155
Then I stalled
I was struggling to be happy with where I was
I still had goals, i wanted to be tone & I thought i was doing ALL the things
- food
- working out
- no cheat days
- steps
- water

It was about this time - 1460 days into my journey if you’re counting (4 years)
I figured out that I was approaching it ALL WRONG
I had started LEARNING & researching about fitness
HOW to achieve the things i was wanting to do
(this would lead to me getting my certification)

The simple things i learned that make the biggest difference

1. Your habits make your life.. align them to your goals
2. Food is FUEL, you need to eat in a surplus to TONE (build muscle)
3. There is a place for EVERYTHING in your diet... your restriction plan looks different depending on what helps YOU stay on track

If you’re struggling to maintain or create the changes you’re wanting know that you’re 👏🏻not 👏🏻alone 👏🏻

So many women struggle through this, and there are so many things that go into it outside of fitness and nutrition it’s your hormones, your recovery, your mindset

My goal as a coach is to empower and teach my women how to create the change that they want, and how to sustain it on their own!

3 habits for positive mindset

Its probably easier than you think...

Making that little negative voice stop
BUT it takes patience , consistency and someone who is willing to SHOW UP no matter what

Here are my KEY tips to a positive mindset

- Natural light- go outside for 5-10 minutes, be present, no phone soak in the fresh air and whatever weather is happening..

- Eat breakfast - it is the most important meal of the day 😉 this is also the meal that your body is going to use to kick start its hormones and energy for the day... carbs and protein are HUGE here

- Create a plan - the best way to show up for yourself is feeling confident in what you are doing. Create a plan day/week/month - your needs- and follow it... i promise you will be more successful.. allow time to adjust and re evaluate every few months

I wanted to lose 25lbs FOR summer
I had bought a CUTE bikini from a boutique

It was a little expensive
But it would make a GREAT treat for when Im CONFIDENT & ✨skinny this summer

I jumped onto Pinterest & saved a few workout challenges
there were a few areas I was insecure - abs, arms
& i added b***y just because 😉
for the most part i just planned on running

& to change some eating habits
- no sugar
- no carbs
- no eating past 7

With this plan I was going to lose the 25lbs & improve my self confidence because I would be SKINNY & happy

6months passed, it was summer, I had lost 10lbs
while not bad, it wasnt my goal so i reflected & found that
My biggest flaw was being stuck on “perfect”

I would get overwhelmed with EVERYTHING there was to do on my check list
& if i didn’t check each box, i would trash the whole day, do whatever & “start again tomorrow”

My solution to this was & still is HABIT STACKING
Building your habits INTO your daily life instead of ONTOP of
when you just show up to your daily & it check boxes you achieve success more frequently😘
