🌱 FOOD PLOT SEASON IS ALMOST HERE! 🦌

We’re getting ready to head into the middle of food plot season, and there’s one thing that’s on everyone’s mind right now — RAIN. 🌧️

A good food plot starts long before the seed goes in the ground. Proper seedbed preparation, the right seed, correct planting depth, and good timing all play a huge role in getting a plot established.

But at the end of the day, we can’t control Mother Nature.

With the lack of rain we’ve been seeing, moisture could be the difference between a food plot that takes off and one that struggles to get established. Planting into dry conditions can mean delayed germination, uneven stands, and potentially wasted seed if we don’t get enough moisture afterward.

That doesn’t mean food plots are off the table — it means planning and timing are more important than ever. With a little bit of luck maybe the weather pattern will change and bring that much needed rain to Oklahoma.

Nice little upgrade to some AC over here! Can’t wait to enjoy many hours in this tractor. Thankful for everyone that has used my services and even to the ones in the future. Exciting things happening!

Finally getting around to do some of my chores. Starting with mowing my alfalfa. 93 days away from opening day and deer season never ends around here.

We like seeing results over here!! Fingers crossed we continue to get a little rain here and there and it doesn’t dry out. Soybeans coming up great and the milo is doing incredibly well.
