So the goal for today was go faster than a 3.97 and both runs were really, really nice early. They were fast runs, and we just got in trouble around the 300 foot mark. We've got some really good data for tomorrow, 2 runs with good back halves, 2 runs with good front halves, and we're gonna smash them together tomorrow and kick everybody's ass. Qualified 9th.

The first session we really thought we had her backed up enough, but she just drove right into smoke. I told everybody it was smooth as glass, I thought for sure it was gonna make it, and then didn't make it. So then I waited the longest I've ever waited between 2 runs it felt like in my life and we hustled back up there and kind of similar story to last night, we just didn't get ahead of the air. After that rain, it was just so watery and we needed a little bit more motor. I'm gonna say this time we definitely learned our lesson.

We’ve got two more shots tomorrow to get in this thing, I know we can do it. Overall a good day. It was fun doing the mower race and getting to grab the Wally on the mower here at the biggest race of the year. That was fun! We’ll keep our heads down, get here tomorrow morning ready to go, and get in this thing. Currently 18th.

It was another hot day here in Indy with some more tricky conditions, and unfortunately we didn't make it down either of the runs today. We know what we did wrong and we’ll try to do a better job tomorrow. We’ve got 2 more shots and we'll get this Bluebird Turf Top Fuel Dragster in the field. All the guys are really doing a great job so I'm excited for tomorrow. Currently 17th.
