is Locked in for the 57th Running of the Bonney’s TYM Tractors APPLE CUP presented by Legends Casino - Saturday, April 11 with a star studded lineup of the CARS Tour West Pro Late Models for ICCU 125.

We caught up with “The Ace” 👇

What would winning the Apple Cup mean to you?
“Winning the Apple Cup would mean so much to me it’s one of the few Crown Jewel races in the northwest the competion will be very good and winning it shows that we can compete with the best.”

Who’s the biggest threat?
“The biggest threat would probably have to be the track it changes so much every day you’re there. With the wind we have in this area it covers the track with sand which makes it have no grip to the sun setting in the evening making it blind going down the back stretch and easy to drive off the top of the track.”

What makes this track so challenging?
“This track is so challenging because there is 3 completely different corners it makes it very hard to get the car perfect for every corner. With the speed and the tire wear it makes it very challenging later in the race.”

Late-race pressure — what’s your mindset?
“It’s important to stay calm when it gets to the end. You have to be perfect hit your marks and make no mistakes. I try to tell my self that every lap. Control what you can control.”

Why should fans watch the #54?
“Fans should keep their eye on the 54 because I’m a patiently aggressive driver I always am in the middle of the action and hopefully will be battling for the win come the end of it all!”

What are you bringing that no one else is?
“I have so much knowledge of the track at my disposal to be able to get help from my dad, uncles, grand parents they have all raced at Tri cities so much. I’m really lucky I can get to pick there brains about how to drive each corner and get different ideas on what to do to be better!”

Not the results we were hoping for at Mission Valley Super Oval but we brought a fast car. We learned so much to prepare to go back in 2 weeks.

The predicted weather in MT is causing this weekends events to be postponed. We are working on if we can make the event on the 28th. We should have a for sure decision by this weekend.

Unfortunately Due to Weather We must POSTPONE our NAPA TWIN 50’s. Cold wet weather is moving in and staying throughout the weekend.
We will RACE JUNE 28!
With this being a huge race, we have to make the call early. We want to save those teams from WA, ID, MT, UT, CA, and Canada the time and expense of taking a chance and traveling. Please share this information. We will see everyone next weekend!
