Angelina Rifle & Pistol Club Steel Challenge — Saturday, September 5, 2026

Come out and ring some steel. Four stage match.

New shooters are welcome. First match with us is FREE. Everybody else: $20 first gun, $10 each extra gun.

Shooter meeting / safety brief: 8:15 AM
First shots: 8:30 AM

Stages are listed in the registration box. All SCSA divisions welcome. Bring eyes, ears, and enough ammo — plan on about 150 rounds to be comfortable, 200 if you want extra for makeups. Three magazines is recommended so you can shoot strings without stopping to reload. Centerfire starts from the holster; rimfire and PCC from low ready.

Hammer down will be at 9 AM, be paid and checked in by 8:45 AM. Cash only at check in. We will have 4 unique, fun, and challenging stages and two USPSA classifiers for this match. A total of 6 stages. An USPSA membership and number will be needed if you are looking to become classified in USPSA.

Priority goes to registered competitors. Walk ons will be accommodated only if spots are available. ARPC member pricing is $25. Non member pricing is $30. You will need: Pistol (9mm caliber minimum), holster attached to a belt, and enough magazines to complete a 32 round stage plus possible extra make up shots. 150 rounds suggested, you will always have plenty of extra if you bring 200 rounds.

USPSA membership and number is not required for participation. If you are a new shooter and never shot an action shooting match then your match fee is free! 500 Meter Match

The 500 meter match will be held 19 SEP 2026. Sign in begins at 8:00 am. Match will begin at 9:00. First relay is unlimited sighters with 10 shots for score. Second and third relay is 2 sighters and 10 shots for score. Bring extra ammo in case of a tie. Match fee is $20.00.

THERE WILL BE 3 RELAYS.

Angelina Practical Shooters will have their monthly match on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at 9 AM. We are starting an hour early because of the summer heat.

The courses will consist of one classification stage and four pistol stages. You will need to be able to carry twenty-four rounds to the starting position.

Classification stage will be:25-03 Let Him Cook

You will need: Pistol, holster, four magazines and 100 rounds(We will keep the match under 100 rounds because of the ammo cost.)

You may register for the match using Practiscore – Angelina Practical Shooters ET12.

Angelina Rifle & Pistol Club – Steel Challenge Saturday, August 1st | 8:30 AM sharp

We’re rolling out early so the heat doesn’t win. Four stages of pure steel. Bring what you shoot — just make sure anything bigger than a .22 is coming out of an OWB holster.

Five magazines is the smart move. Three will get you by if you’re living dangerously.

$20 to play, $10 for each extra gun. First-time shooters shoot free. New shooters welcome.
