We’re happy to see that Westley the Steller sea lion has found his happy place at our favorite sea lion haul out spot in Resurrection Bay. Westley was found separated from his mother inside a seafood processing plant in Unalaska back in December. He was rescued by the Alaska SeaLife Center and then transported to California to the Marine Mammal Center where he got the care he needed and learned to be a sea lion. He was recently released back into the wild here in Resurrection Bay and is doing great. Welcome home, Westley! Seward, Alaska

Sometimes the selfcare we need is our friends, family, and the open waters 💧🩵

Better than brunch plans, especially when you hit the water and bring your own brunch hehe.
